General Rules

What do I need to do to stay a member of this forum? The main rule is being active. The thing that can make or break a forum is the dreaded onslaught of inactive members. All we want is at least two posts in a week per character. Inactive members who do not log on and show activity in normal game threads within one week of getting accepted, will be deleted. If you are actively looking for threads to join or creating a plot during that week, then you will be safe. The main goal is to make sure the character will be played.
This activity does not count for non-RP sections. (Only RP posts are counted as activity.) Out of Character fun is cool but you must contribute to the game threads above all. Active members keep a forum happy and healthy.
1. Brand new members must choose a character within one week of registering and have their application completed or the account will be deleted.
2. Already established members must post at least twice a week in an RP thread. If inactive for more than two weeks, the character will go up for grabs and the account deleted after one week. You may re-apply but your original application will have been deleted. To avoid this please make sure you back up your applications.
We WILL be doing Activity Checks once every month. So it is important you have at least four RP posts. OOC posts do NOT count.
3. If you disappear altogether with no word as to why, your account will be deleted after two weeks. If you should happen to return, you can ask for a new character, or the same one, if it's still available. If you disappear a second time, you will not be allowed back.
If you are going to be inactive for a long period of time please post it on the Absence Board. If something comes up in the line of Real Life problems (Real life always takes precedence) and you will be away for an extended and/or indefinite time please inform the staff. And make arrangements to put your characters up for grabs. It’s only common courtesy.

Another Player is acting not so nice. What can I do? This is a Friendly Forum, meaning no sex, no racism, derogatory language, excessive violence or unnecessary swearing. Any posts made with any of the previous and they will be deleted and the member banned for good. This also goes for PMs. Anyone caught doing any sort of R-X rated PMs will be banned immediately.
Romantic scenes in threads are fine so long as it doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable and does not cross over into the rated R zone. If you are unsure please PM the Admins or Mods to make sure. No overly romantic scenes with underage players. For further clarification see RP rules.
Please be kind to your fellow players. Meaning do not make remarks on their Lounge Board or anywhere else about another players way of RPing, way of life or personal opinions. This can be hurtful even if you're joking. Anyone caught harassing another player will be banned for good.
Be sure to report to an admin about any player’s conduct you find uncomfortable or perceive as harassment. If there is evidence of any kind of harassment the player WILL be banned for good.
Posting Rules
1. Before creating a thread, please post the thread's plot in the plot suggestions section of the site. The format for posting plot suggestions can be found there.
2. Please post in the third person (He, She, etc.) and not in the first (I, Me, etc.) unless your character is speaking.
3. Post lengths must be at least 200 words. Any less and the post will be null, you will have to edit it.
4. WAIT YOUR TURN. For example, if there are four people in a thread, then the order of posting should be 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4 and so on.
5. Please check your spelling and grammar before posting, we will let it slide occasionally, but if the writing is not read-able then you will be asked to redo the post.
6. If your character is speaking, you may color the text or bold it, it will make it easier for other players to distinguish from speaking and actions. This is optional, however.
7. Your character can not figure out who Kira is based on nothing, you have to gather evidence yourself in order to begin suspecting someone. If Kira ends up being suspected, they must find their own way out of it.
